What is the difference between BubbleMarkets and TradingView?

TradingView is built for charting one asset in depth. BubbleMarkets is built for seeing a whole market at once. They answer different questions, so the comparison is less about which is better and more about which job you are doing.

On TradingView you open a chart, add indicators and draw on it. On BubbleMarkets you open a board and every asset is a bubble. Size shows market value and colour shows the move over your chosen timeframe.

A common routine is to scan the bubble map for the day's biggest movers, then open the interesting ones in a full charting tool.

When is TradingView the better choice?

TradingView is the better tool when you need technical analysis. It has a deep set of indicators, drawing tools and multi-chart layouts. It also has a large community that publishes scripts and trade ideas.

BubbleMarkets does not try to compete there. Its charts are simple price charts, opened by clicking a bubble. If indicator-heavy charting is your main job, TradingView fits better.

TradingView also has heatmaps for stocks, ETFs and crypto. They use rectangles grouped by sector, a different layout from a bubble map.

When is BubbleMarkets the better choice?

BubbleMarkets fits when you follow several markets and want to see them all quickly. Every board uses the same bubble format: US stocks, Asian, European, Japanese and Indian stocks, ETFs, crypto, forex, commodities, bonds and world indices.

Switching boards is one click, and the timeframe pills (1H to 1Y) recolour the whole board at once. You can see in seconds whether a move is a one-day blip or part of a longer trend.

It also needs no setup. There are no layouts to build and no watchlist to fill before you see anything. Open the page and the market is there.

How do the prices compare?

Both have a free plan. TradingView's paid plans start at $12.95 a month billed yearly for Essential and go up to $199.95 a month for Ultimate, per its pricing page in November 2026. Real-time data for some exchanges is a separate paid subscription.

BubbleMarkets Pro is $19.99 a month or $199 a year. It refreshes prices every 30–60 seconds and adds price alerts, portfolio tracking, sector heat maps and AI summaries. Professional, at $49.99 a month, streams crypto, US stocks and ETFs live.

The free BubbleMarkets plan refreshes every 1–2 minutes. Visitors without an account get the full board for 5 minutes a day.

Can I use BubbleMarkets and TradingView together?

Yes, and that is how many traders use them. The bubble map is the overview and the charting platform is the deep dive.

BubbleMarkets does not connect to TradingView accounts or import its watchlists. You would star assets on BubbleMarkets separately.

What does a bubble map show that a chart does not?

A chart shows one asset over time. A bubble map shows a hundred assets at one moment, side by side. That makes outliers easy to spot.

A small bubble in a strong colour is an asset moving far more than its size suggests. That is usually where the day's news is. On a chart, you only find it if you already knew to look.

You can also size bubbles by volume instead of market cap. The board then shows where the trading is busiest today. Market cap or volume explains when to use each.

Common questions

Is BubbleMarkets a replacement for TradingView?
Not for charting. BubbleMarkets shows whole markets as live bubble maps. TradingView is a full charting platform with indicators and drawing tools. Many traders use the bubble map to find movers and TradingView to chart them.
Is BubbleMarkets cheaper than TradingView?
Not at the entry level. TradingView Essential starts at $12.95 a month billed yearly; BubbleMarkets Pro is $19.99 a month or $199 a year. Both have free plans.
Does BubbleMarkets have real-time data?
The Professional plan streams crypto, US stocks and ETFs live. Pro refreshes every 30–60 seconds and the free plan every 1–2 minutes. Forex, commodities, bonds and indices refresh on an interval on every plan.
Does TradingView have a bubble chart of the market?
TradingView's market heatmaps use rectangles grouped by sector, not bubbles. BubbleMarkets draws every asset as a bubble sized by market value and coloured by its move.
