About BubbleMarkets
BubbleMarkets is a multi-asset market visualiser. Every asset is drawn as a bubble sized by market capitalisation and coloured by its price change. A whole market reads at a glance.
It covers about 1,500 US stocks, 200 ETFs, 16,000 cryptocurrencies, 130 currencies and 1,900 forex pairs. It also covers 100+ commodities, the US Treasury yield curve and the major world indices. The established bubble maps are crypto-only; this one puts every major asset class on one board.
How do the bubbles work?
Bubble size comes from market capitalisation, or from volume when you switch the sizing metric. There are ten size tiers, from 15px for the smallest assets to 305px for the largest at a 900px baseline. The board then scales to your screen.
Colour shows the percentage move over the selected timeframe, from 1H to 1Y. It is calibrated per market, because a 15% day is normal in crypto and extraordinary in forex.
Where does the data come from?
Crypto prices come from CoinGecko. Equities, ETFs and forex come from Financial Modeling Prep. Commodities and Treasury yields come from their own public providers.
The refresh rate depends on the plan and the market. The free plan refreshes every 1-2 minutes, and Pro every 30-60 seconds. Professional streams crypto and US equities live. The same data is served through the public API documented at /developer.
